Tips for Fishing
What are some of the tips we need to remember as we fish for disciples?

Go where the fish are.

Be with people on their own turf.

Be real, be vulnerable, and be honest.

Be creative.

We don’t have to do things the same old way.

Be spiritual, but not “churchy”.

Be patientBe ready for surprises!

Be willing to step out of your comfort zone.

Be on the lookout for where God is at work.

Be praying.

p.s. The entire gospel is represented in the above acronym. Does anyone know what it is in english? How about Greek? History?

    What is Discipleship?

Ichthus, spelled: Iota Chi Theta Upsilon Sigma.

That is an acrostic which has many translations in English. The most popular appears to be “Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior”

Great job Russ! You must be a Harding Graduate!!

Kodiak a disciple is a follower, a student who not only learns from his teacher but wants to become just like his teacher.

Discipleship is the process of making disciples.

    How’s this one?
Iota - first letter of the greek word that in english is pronounced ye-sus (Jesus).
Chi - first letter of the greek word that in english is pronounced christos (Christ).
Theta - first letter of the greek word that in english is pronounced Theos (God).
The last two I have fogotten the greek words for, but I got three out of five! Not bad for one semester of greek about twenty years ago. B4T
