I just finished the book by Norman Vincent Peale, “The Power of Positive Thinking.” It is a classic read. There is power for positive living on every single page. It is my goal to live by the power of positive thinking in all areas of my life. Positive thinking will bring positive results.
On the flip side, I have discovered there is also power in negative thinking. Negative thinking has the power to produce negative results. Negative thinking is like a black hole. It will draw you deeper and deeper into it, until all you can see, think, hear or feel is negative. It will produce negative results in your life. Once one get sucked into this black hole of negative thinking, it’s difficult to pull out of it.
The power of negative thinking is what keeps baseball teams in slumps, economies down, churches from being active, investors from investing, couples from talking, etc. The motto of the negative thinker is “I can’t do it.” It is the exact opposite thinking of the apostle Paul who said, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” (Philip. 4:13)
How do you become free from the gravitational pull of the black hole of negative thinking? Don’t get into one in the first place. Recognize it for what it is and don’t go down that road. Also, trust God’s word. Read it. Believe it. Obey it. Pray. Speak positive. Spend time with positive people. Take risks. Take positive action. Believe in others. Build others up. Encourage. Commit. Help. Do what can’t be done. Praise God daily!
Change your world today - through the power of positive, Godly thinking!

INTERESTING POINTS on positive thinking!!!! I’d like to share with you this book I finished that might offer you some new insights. It’s called Harmonic Wealth and it’s all about finding harmony in your life in all areas - financial, relational, mental, physical, and spiritual. It has some really good tips about how to engage all five pillars (or areas) of your life, and to learn more about how they complement each other. Rather than dealing with each issue individually, maybe take a look at the bigger picture.
Here’s the link to that book I recommend: harmonicwealth.com/read
